Car died on Sheikh Zayed Road last night and the recovery experience was a mess

So this happened last night around 11pm, my car just cut out on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Marina exit. Battery light came on, steering went heavy, and I managed to coast to the shoulder which was terrifying with trucks flying past. Called my insurance recovery and they said 90 minutes minimum, maybe longer. Ended up waiting almost two hours in the heat with hazard lights on hoping nobody rear ends me. The tow guy who finally showed up was nice enough but clearly rushed and didn't really explain where he was taking the car. Now I'm stuck figuring out which workshop to send it to since the recovery company just drops it at their partner garage by default and I've heard mixed things about those places. A colleague told me to look into top rated car repair and recovery in Dubai options before agreeing to anything because some garages hold your car hostage with storage fees while they pressure you into overpriced repairs. I checked out 800sayara after seeing it pop up in a few threads and they seem to handle both repairs and recovery which could have saved me a lot of hassle last night. Anyone dealt with a breakdown on the highway here, how did you handle the garage situation afterwards?
