What niches are still worth trying for Amazon dropshipping?

I've been selling a few home and kitchen products on Amazon through a dropshipping supplier, but lately it feels like every listing has a dozen sellers fighting over the same customers. Whenever I find something with a reasonable margin, I check again a couple of weeks later and the price has already dropped. I'm thinking about trying a different category, but I don't want to spend weeks adding products only to end up in the same situation. I've considered pet supplies and garden accessories, although I'm not sure how much competition there is in either. What categories have you had better luck with lately, and how do you decide whether a niche is worth getting into?

Half the battle is not getting excited by the category name itself. Pet supplies sounds promising, garden sounds promising, then you open the search results and find out all the obvious products are already packed with sellers. In pet supplies, I'd dig into smaller groups like grooming accessories, travel gear, or feeding products and test only a handful first. Garden accessories can work too, but keep seasonality and shipping size in mind before filling the store with them.

Supplier catalogs are dangerous because after twenty minutes of scrolling almost everything starts to look sellable. That's how a store ends up full of random products that looked fine individually but never really went anywhere. There's an article about the most popular dropshipping niches for Amazon here: https://easync.io/articles/niches-for-am...pshipping/ . It gives you several directions to explore without locking the whole store into one category. Pick a few that fit your supplier setup and then check the actual Amazon listings before adding products in bulk.
